Legal Agreement and Binding Nature
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TechLead Academy. By accessing our website, enrolling in our courses, or using any of our educational services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.
This agreement governs your legal relationship with TechLead Academy and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our services and refrain from enrolling in any of our educational programs.

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate legal action:
- Engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Impersonating TechLead Academy staff, instructors, or other students
- Using our services for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purposes
- Violating the privacy or rights of other users or third parties
3. Content Guidelines and Restrictions
All content you submit or share through our services must meet these requirements:
- Content must be original, lawful, and not infringe on third-party rights
- Submissions must be relevant to educational objectives and course requirements
- No offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate material of any kind
- Proper attribution required for all referenced sources and materials
- Commercial solicitation or promotional content is strictly prohibited
4. Age Restrictions and Requirements
Use of our services is subject to the following age-related requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years for direct enrollment and account creation
- Users aged 16-17 require documented parental or guardian consent
- Professional development courses require minimum educational qualifications
- Age verification may be required for certain course enrollments
- Special provisions apply for corporate or group enrollments
Financial Responsibilities and Indemnification

Liability Limitations and Warranty Disclaimers
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our educational services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or career advancement results.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechLead Academy's total liability for any claims arising from or related to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course in question during the 12 months preceding the claim.
Consequential Damages Exclusion
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Force Majeure Provisions
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, internet outages, or other unforeseeable events that prevent the delivery of our educational services.
Important Legal Notice
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability, whether based on warranty, contract, statute, tort, or otherwise.
Legal Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka:
- All legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts
- Venue for any legal proceedings shall be in Colombo, Sri Lanka
- Sri Lankan law applies regardless of your location or residence
- Any conflicts of law principles are expressly disclaimed
2. Dispute Resolution Procedures
We encourage resolution of disputes through the following process:
- Direct Communication: Initial attempt to resolve issues through our customer service channels
- Formal Complaint: Written complaint submitted with detailed description of the dispute
- Mediation: Good faith participation in mediation proceedings if direct communication fails
- Arbitration: Binding arbitration in accordance with Sri Lankan arbitration rules
- Court Proceedings: Legal action as a last resort through competent Sri Lankan courts
3. Severability Clause
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid:
- The invalid provision shall be severed from the agreement
- All remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect
- The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that achieves the same intent
- The overall agreement remains binding and enforceable
4. Terms Modification Policy
Modifications to these Terms and Conditions are subject to the following procedures:
- Material changes require 30 days advance written notice
- Minor administrative changes may be implemented immediately
- Continued use after notice period constitutes acceptance of changes
- You may terminate your account if you disagree with modifications
- No oral modifications or waivers are permitted
Enforcement Rights and Available Remedies
TechLead Academy reserves all rights under law and equity to enforce these Terms and Conditions. Available remedies for violations include but are not limited to:
- Immediate suspension or termination of account access and services
- Recovery of damages, costs, and reasonable attorney fees
- Injunctive relief to prevent ongoing or threatened violations
- Reporting of illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities
- Cooperation with legal investigations and court proceedings
We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies for violations of these terms, regardless of whether other remedies have been pursued or exhausted. These enforcement rights are in addition to, not in lieu of, any other rights or remedies available to us.
